Over the years, Paget Equipment has grown and evolved, been driven by our commitment to quality and innovation. From our early beginnings to significant milestones, explore the pivotal moments in our history that have defined who we are today.
Paget Equipment is a Division of JBL, Inc. Paget Equipment
Mission Statement:
"Paget Equipment extends our family’s passion
for designing and fabricating uncompromised
ASME products to empower future technologies,
in a clean and safe working environment."
In 1976, Robert and Donald Paget purchased the metal fabrication shop (formerly Besler Steel Corporation which was formed in 1972.), relocated to Marshfield, WI and re-named it “Paget Equipment Co.” Our focus was to work within the Dairy industry and fabricate small tanks
In 1977, Jim Reigel was hired by Paget Equipment to be an engineer and help the organization achieve its goals.
At 35 years old, Jim Reigel, with the help of two of his brothers, purchased Paget Equipment. JBL International Inc. purchased Paget Equipment and continued to run the company under DBA "Paget Equipment". In 1985, Paget Equipment had 11 employees and humble facilities. Jim had a vision to expand the product offering, add new markets and enlarge the facilities. His vision created good careers for many people within our community.
Paget Equipment was focused on expanding its footprint and capabilities. During these years, there were 5 new buildings added. These buildings dramatically changed our relationship with our customers and our ability to expand our offerings.
In 2002, Jim became the sole owner of Paget Equipment by purchasing the remaining shares from his brothers.
“It is a great honor to be named Firm of the Year, and there’s many people who were involved in making this happen. We’ve been blessed. The Paget team is the real key behind the success that we have had. The teamwork that they have together and their continued efforts to improve quality have done wonders for us.” said President James Reigel.
Amy Kettner, the eldest daughter, and Brian Kettner "her husband" moved back home to run the business and continue Jim's legacy. This process started the next generation of ideas and execution to help both our customers and our employees modernize.
Since 2023, Paget Equipment has made substantial investments in it's employees, it's facilities and its equipment. We always start with our employees. We have actively brought in a diverse group of external experts for training. This started with Mid-State Technical college and included other external partners. We introduced best practices on Leadership, Safety and New Technologies. Paget's facilities have been updated and upgraded throughout its 12.6 acres. In addition, we have researched and updated many different technologies to provide new, faster and safer ways of doing business.
We are proud of our past and excited for the bright future that we have ahead of us.
Here at Paget Equipment, we care about our customers.
