The business now known as Paget Equipment Co. was first known as Besler Steel Corporation and was formed in 1972. The primary function was to buy, refurbish, sell and reinstall equipment in dairy plants.
In 1976, Ronald and Donald Paget purchased the metal fabrication shop, relocated to Marshfield, WI and re-named it “Paget Equipment Co.” It was from this time that Paget Equipment began servicing other industries.
The current owner and CEO Jim Reigel joined Paget in 1977 and, along with his two brothers, purchased the business in August of 1985.
In 2002 Jim became the sole owner by purchasing the shares from his brothers.
With expansions in 2000, 2003, 2010 and 2012 and our heavy lift high bay expansion in 2015 Paget Equipment now utilizes over 56,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space all on an 8 acre plot. Office and management personnel are located in an adjacent 5,750 square foot office building, also built in 2000.
